Low Current System Technician

Overview
Developed in partnership with MTICO, the Low Current System Technician program is a practical, industry-aligned course that prepares you for direct employment in Lebanon’s low current (ELV) sector. You will learn to install, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot the security, communication, and smart building systems used across homes, offices, and commercial properties in Lebanon.
The curriculum follows real ELV project workflows, moving from safety and structured cabling fundamentals through CCTV, alarm systems, access control, PA systems, parking management, and full system integration. Each module combines technical theory, hands-on practice, exposure to the job market, and a competency-based assessment, so you graduate ready to work.
What You Will Learn
- Low current safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment
- Electrical basics, structured cabling, and fiber optics
- Installation of structured cabling systems, racks, patch panels, and PoE
- Installation and configuration of camera security and CCTV systems, both IP and analog
- Installation and testing of intrusion and fire alarm systems according to Lebanese codes
- Setup of access control systems including RFID, fingerprint, and palm recognition
- Installation of PA and sound systems and configuration of parking management systems
- System integration, backup power setup, and troubleshooting across all systems covered

| Alarm Systems and Fire Alarm (Normal and Industrial) | Intrusion alarms, fire alarm systems, device installation, panel wiring and zoning, and compliance with Lebanese codes | 8 hours |
