Accounting Level 1

Overview
Accounting Level 1 gives you the foundation to work confidently in general accounting, from understanding debit and credit to producing the reports a business runs on. You will learn the core principles of accounting and then apply them directly on the EDM accounting system, the same type of software used in shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and retail businesses across Lebanon.
Beyond the theory, this course puts you in front of real accounting tasks: recording daily transactions, preparing monthly reports, handling point of sale (POS) sales and returns, and reconciling cash. By the end, you will be ready to step into a general accounting role and use an accounting system with confidence.
What You Will Learn

- Record income and expenses and set up new databases and charts of accounts on an accounting system
- Enter data accurately and avoid common data entry mistakes
- Create sales invoices, process returns, and handle cashier duties with proper cash control
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, including profit and loss reports, for management decisions
