ASP.NET

Overview
This course teaches ASP.NET, Microsoft’s framework for building modern, secure web applications and APIs with C#. Over 25 to 30 hours, you will learn ASP.NET Core MVC architecture, Razor Pages, dependency injection, and data access with Entity Framework Core.
You will also learn how to build RESTful Web APIs, secure applications with authentication and authorization, and test, debug, and deploy ASP.NET Core applications, using Visual Studio and the .NET SDK throughout.
What You Will Learn
- Set up an ASP.NET development environment using Visual Studio and the .NET SDK.
- Build web applications using ASP.NET Core MVC architecture, routing, controllers, and views.
- Build page-focused applications using Razor Pages and Razor syntax.
- Use middleware and dependency injection to manage HTTP requests and object dependencies.
- Access and manage data using Entity Framework Core, including defining models and performing CRUD operations.
- Secure applications using ASP.NET Core’s authentication and authorization tools.
- Build RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core Web API, including creating controllers and handling HTTP requests and responses.
- Test, debug, and deploy ASP.NET Core applications to environments like Azure App Service or Docker containers.
