Blacksmith and Metal Works

Overview
Blacksmith and Metal Works, known in Arabic as أعمال الحدادة, is a hands on introduction to ironwork fabrication. Over 75 hours you will learn to cut, weld, bend and assemble iron into windows, doors, staircases, railings and more, using both manual and electric tools. Safety is built into every session, and you will practice through group tasks, live demonstrations and peer evaluation so you learn from your own work and your classmates.
This is a 6-month program: 75 hours of classroom and workshop training followed by 3 months of supervised practical work with a blacksmithing workshop or construction company, where you apply your skills to real projects, read technical drawings, and coordinate with engineers and clients. The full program costs 850 USD.
