Overview
This course gives you a solid, practical foundation in project management built for professionals who are new to the field or looking to formalize skills they already use on the job. You will work through the complete project life cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and control, and closing, while also building the business fundamentals that support good project decisions, such as budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
The course runs 24 hours (the source outline for this material is designed as a longer 32 hour program, but CIS delivers it as a focused 24 hour course). Teaching combines instructor led sessions with case studies, assignments, and a final assessment that covers both the practical and theoretical sides of project management.
