Car Electricity (Specialized)

Overview
Car Electricity (Specialized), known in Arabic as Dawrat Kahraba Al-Sayarat Al-Mutakhassisa (دورة كهرباء السيارات المتخصصة), prepares students to become skilled in car electrical systems (تقني في كهرباء السيارات). It is one of the specialized courses in CIS College’s automotive track, meant for students who have completed the Automotive Foundations preparatory course or who already have a working base in the field. Over 100 hours, you build a complete, practical understanding of car electrical systems, from core principles and circuits to starting, charging, and lighting systems, and you finish with the ability to read electrical diagrams, a skill every car electrician relies on daily.
This course belongs to CIS College’s specialized automotive track, which is made up of a preparatory course followed by specializations in mechanics, electricity, and electronics.
What You Will Learn
- Core electrical principles and how key electrical parts work: relays, switches, lamps, batteries, and fuses
- How to build both simple and advanced electrical circuits
- How the starting system (starter motor) works
- How the charging system (alternator) works
- Battery types, testing, and maintenance
- Lighting systems, flashers, signals, and the horn
- Electrical gauges in the car: fuel level, oil pressure, and temperature indicators
- How to read car electrical diagrams
