Fashion Design Level 1

Overview
Fashion Design Level 1 is the entry point into CIS College’s fashion design program. Over 24 hours of hands on instruction, you will build the foundation every designer needs before touching a sewing machine: how to turn inspiration into a mood board, how color and styling work together, and how to draw the human figure and the garments you imagine on it.
You do not need any prior drawing or design experience. The course walks you through fashion genres and history, the right vocabulary for every garment piece, and step by step drawing techniques, so that by the end you can sketch a complete, colored fashion figure and start building your own design portfolio.
