Gypsum and Decoration Works

Overview
Gypsum and Decoration Works, known in Arabic as “أعمال الجفصين” (ديكور عام), is a 75-hour program giving students practical skills in installing gypsum ceilings and walls, working with accessories, and performing repairs. Learning happens through site visits, demonstrations, group activities, and mock installations, covering essential techniques such as panel cutting, joint puttying, and ceiling mounting so students are prepared for real construction tasks.
This course follows the CIS 6-month program structure: 75 hours of classroom and hands-on instruction over 3 months, followed by a 3-month supervised internship. During the internship, students work alongside experienced professionals on live construction projects, gaining valuable industry experience and preparing for employment in the gypsum and decoration field.
