Overview
This Home Appliances Installation and Maintenance course prepares you to diagnose, install, repair, and maintain the household appliances people rely on every day, from refrigerators and washing machines to ovens, microwaves, and small kitchen devices. CIS College is Lebanon’s largest private vocational college, founded in 1991, with branches across the country, and this 60-hour program is built around real hands-on troubleshooting: you will work with real appliances, tools, wiring kits, and testing equipment throughout the course.
The training covers electrical and mechanical systems, component testing, and safety procedures for each major appliance category, alongside field simulations for real installation and customer-facing work. You will finish the course ready to take on appliance repair work professionally, with practical skills you can use on day one.
What You Will Learn
- Identify major and small household appliances and their core electrical and mechanical components
- Apply electrical safety practices and correct use of personal protective equipment on the job
- Diagnose and repair refrigerators and freezers, including conventional and inverter systems
- Diagnose and repair washing machines and dishwashers, including inverter models
- Service ovens, microwaves, cookers, and common small home appliances
- Install appliances on site and manage water, gas, and electrical connections
- Communicate professionally with clients and handle warranty and maintenance conversations
