Revit L1

Overview
Revit Architecture is a Building Information Modeling program used to design full 3D architectural projects and turn them into working construction drawings. This 25 hour Level 1 course at CIS College is designed to teach you Revit the way you would use it in an actual design process: starting with the user interface and design development tools, then moving into the commands used for construction documentation.
By the end of the course, you will be able to build a complete 3D architectural project model, from site and levels through building elements, stairs, and rendered views, and set it up as a proper working drawing set.
What You Will Learn
- Navigate the Revit Architecture interface and set up system and project settings
- Create a site, including topography, property lines, and parking
- Set up project levels and grid lines for a new project
- Use massing tools and basic building elements such as columns, floors, roofs, walls, windows, doors, and ceilings
- Add stairs, railings, rooms, and furniture to a building model
- Refine a building model with curtain walls, wall sweeps, and parametric relationships
- Create views, sheets, dimensions, and text annotation for construction documentation
- Render exterior and interior views and record a project walkthrough
