Ticketing and Reservation Level 1

Overview
This 40 hour hybrid course, delivered at CIS branches across Lebanon and online, equips you with the skills to manage reservations efficiently in the travel and tourism industry. You will build proficiency in handling booking systems, customer interactions, and the logistical aspects of the reservation process, while developing excellent customer service skills for responding to inquiries, handling complaints, and accommodating special requests.
Upon completion, you will receive a training certificate in ticketing and reservation, opening doors to employment opportunities across airlines, travel agencies, hotels, and online travel platforms, in roles that include booking flights, issuing tickets, and managing reservations.
What You Will Learn
- Understand the fundamentals of ticketing and reservations in the travel industry
- Navigate global distribution systems including Amadeus, Sabre, and Galileo
- Apply IATA and non-IATA travel agency terms and definitions
- Read three letter city and airport codes and two character airline codes
- Handle travel documentation requirements including passport, visa, health, customs, and currency information
- Book hotel accommodations and tour packages
- Build airfares and fare construction for one-way and round trip tickets, including taxes, fees, and charges
- Deliver excellent customer service in bookings, complaints, and special requests

| Global Distribution Systems (GDS) | Working with Amadeus, Sabre, Abacus, and Galileo systems, with hands on practice in Amadeus |
