Ticketing and Reservation Level 2
Overview
This 12 hour hybrid course builds on Ticketing and Reservation Level 1 with advanced Amadeus e-ticketing skills. You will learn how to accurately assess when revalidation or reissue is required, manage revalidations and manual reissues, use the automated reissue functionality of the Amadeus Ticket Changer (ATC), and generate and issue Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMDs) with penalties, reinforced through hands on practice in the Amadeus system.
This course requires proof of at least 6 months of work experience in ticketing or reservations as a prerequisite. It is designed for travel agency staff who already have a solid understanding of PNR pricing and electronic ticketing and want to advance into revalidation and reissue processes.

- Assess when e-ticket revalidation or reissue is required
- Perform e-ticket revalidations following Amadeus revalidation rules
- Execute manual e-ticket reissues for unused and partially used tickets
- Use the Amadeus Ticket Changer (ATC) for automated reissue
- Void e-tickets correctly
- Process refunds for unused and partially used tickets
- Create and issue Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMDs) with penalties
- Reissue EMDs when required

Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience in a ticketing or reservation role, with proof required
- Good command of English
- Basic PC knowledge
- Solid understanding of PNR pricing and electronic ticketing in the Amadeus reservation system
