Web Design (Front End)

Overview
CIS College’s Web Design (Front End) course teaches you to build modern, responsive websites from the ground up. Over 30 hours of hands-on training you learn HTML for structuring web pages, CSS for styling and layout, and JavaScript together with jQuery for interactivity, plus the responsive design techniques that make a site work well on any device.
By the end of the course you will be able to plan, design and build a complete website on your own, from a single styled page to a linked, multi-page site with working forms and navigation.
What You Will Learn
- Structure web pages with HTML: headings, lists, links, images and tables
- Style pages and control layout using CSS, including the box model, positioning and flexbox
- Build and enhance web forms, including input controls and organized layouts
- Add interactivity with JavaScript and jQuery, including events, effects and AJAX
- Apply responsive web design techniques so pages adapt to any screen size
- Create navigation bars, dropdowns and image galleries with CSS
