Food Safety

Overview
Food Safety is a 40 hour course covering the full picture of how food is kept safe, from the hazards that can affect it to the systems used to control those hazards. You will study physical, chemical and biological risks in food, learn how to carry out a basic risk assessment, and work through the international systems used in food safety management, including HACCP and ISO 22000.
Because food safety is a requirement in any setting that handles food, from restaurants to bakeries to food production facilities, this course is built to prepare you for real responsibility in that kind of environment.

Who This Course Is For
This course suits anyone working in or aiming to work in food service or food production, including restaurants, bakeries and other food handling facilities, as well as anyone responsible for food safety compliance.
Certification
Graduates who complete the course successfully receive a certificate recognized by Lebanon’s Directorate General of Technical and Vocational Education.
